As my graduation project, I am creating a mocap plugin for Unreal Engine 4. The goal is to be able to stream real-time motion capture data into the engine. Motion capture has been around for a while now. Usually, the captured movements need to be processed for hours, days, weeks, for them to be useable in the engine. Streaming motion capture data live into Unreal Engine 4 could solve this problem. It would immediately show the fully modelled and rigged character performing the movements in the suit. The suit I am using is the MVN Awinda, created by Xsens Technologies and accompanied by the software: MVN Studio. They already released similar plugins for Unity, Maya and MotionBuilder.
